This is a screenshot I took a month or so ago of this really great build. They got the atmosphere perfect. It looks like a badass RP sim, but it's actually a shop. I was very impressed.

          Oh well that blows. Mine does the same thing, but usually I get four hours or so of ok'ness, then it drops everything.

          Which is _really_ annoying when you have 10 terminal sessions open to a server with code open in each, and you have to reconnect every one, go find the files, reopen them and find your place. Uhg.

            Mine is completely random. Sometimes i restart the router and it goes out in 5 minutes, other times it last days (though very rare). I read that most linksys routers have a problem with this eventually, so I think all I really need to do is change the router, but the new one we bought doesn't work on all our computers for some reason...

    Wow, pretty slick.

    I think I tired to download the Half Life client when I was in school, and it did download but I uninstalled it for some reason.

    Now that I'm back at home I can't download much of anything without it only having a 32mbps transfer rate (that's the max I've seen)

    I'd like to play though, sounds cool.

      Well the first mistake you don't want to make is to think of Second Life as a game. It is NOT a game. There are no quests, or anything like that.

      It is a virtual world where people can build stuff, and create their own world for others to enjoy and use.

      If you go in expecting a game, you will be disappointed immediately.
